Road Trip Coming!
Time to pack’em up and head’em out, as they say in these parts. (Actually, I’m not sure anybody talks that way in Austin anymore, unless they’re trying to fool a tourist into buying a jackelope trophy for their den.) I’m off to the other side of the world in a couple of days, and it’s been seven weeks since my last tour of duty overseas.
Besides meeting with quite a few supplier representatives, I’ll be facilitating courses in statistical design of experiments, hypotheses and comparative experiments, and Six Sigma fundamentals. I’ll be making stops in Shenzhen, China and the lovely island of Singapore. Fortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any tropical systems threatening the Hong Kong/Shenzhen area, nor are any predicted in the next ten days. One never knows, this time of year!
I’ll post some news about what I see in the factories and classrooms this trip, but I doubt I’ll be on here every day. Lots to do for my client, of course. And now that they’re integrating Lean Technology into their improvement philosophy, there’s even more to track and energize.
Should be an interesting trip! Here’s wishing you well…
